Blogging is angels and demons, at least not in the Dan Brown sense of those words, because I both love blogging and well, I rapidly procrastinate and become a lazy fuck about it all.
I simply won’t say hate.
Writing down my thoughts and opinions regarding the multitude of topics that bounce around my head from time to time, is something that I really need to “habit form”. You know, FORMING A HABIT? Like that gym membership that we all sign up for at the beginning of the year, or the strong compulsion to eat Brussels Sprouts that we all formed as children. So yeah, I need to “habit form” this blogging stuff.
So what have I done? I’ve wiped the slate clean and I’m about to start a brand new blogging adventure, one in which I hope you will look in upon from time to time, as that will no doubt help in keeping my habit in check.
The reason I have Amanda Palmers book – The Art of Asking posted up top of this page is that I’m currently reading it, and finding it a fascinatingly fun book. It seems that we are all terrified to ask for things (I know I am and have been, many, many times), but it’s quite amazing what can happen when you do ask…
So I’ll ask you to keep me in check, and maybe let me know how this habit is coming along. Good and bad let me know…
As once formed, a habit is very hard to break.
